Woburn is 10 miles North of Boston and has a thriving community, excellent restaurants, beautiful walking trails and public transportation into Boston.

Woburn has a thriving business community coordinated by the Woburn Chamber of Commerce. The Woburn Chamber of Commerce holds many networking events throughout the year which offer a great way for new people and businesses to meet each other. We encourage any business that offers a service or product to the City of Woburn to join us even if you do not live in or have an office in the city.

Woburn’s residents lead and volunteer with a wide variety of local service clubs and non-profit groups. Social Capital Inc., Middlesex Lions Club, Breakfast Lions Club, Host Lions Club, Woburn Rotary, Council on Social Concern, North Suburban YMCA, Woburn Boys and Girls Club and the beautifully renovated historic Woburn Public Library originally designed by Henry Hobson Richardson, the architect for Trinity Church in Copley Square, Boston. Woburn is also the home of the Cummings Foundation headquarters that gives over $30 million annually to deserving non-profits and initiatives in Middlesex, Essex and Suffolk Counties, Massachusetts.

Committed to family values, Woburn holds many fun, family events. Signature events coordinated by Social Capital Inc. include Summer Concerts by Horn Pond, WorldFest, and biennial Holiday House Tours. Don’t miss the Woburn Recreation Department events and The Halloween Parade coordinated by The Woburn Host Lions Club.

Horn Pond is one of many choices in Woburn for walking, hiking, running, fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, or walking your dog. Views of surrounding communities and the Boston skyline can be seen from Horn Pond Mountain and community members grow their vegetables in the community gardens off one of the many trails surrounding the pond.
